Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting the marketing department in various initiatives aimed at promoting the Blitz Football League. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, digital campaigns, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing and creating content for Blitz Football League’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). Schedule posts, engage with followers, and track performance metrics.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and creative content such as blog posts, newsletters, graphics, and videos to promote league events, games, and community initiatives.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns including email marketing, paid advertising, and influencer partnerships.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Event Support: Assist in the organization and promotion of league events, including game days, fan meet-and-greets, and community outreach programs.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and prepare reports to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with the marketing team and other departments on cross-functional projects to enhance brand visibility and fan engagement.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support the marketing department, including managing marketing calendars, updating databases, and handling correspondence.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Attributes: Creative thinker, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Passion for sports and a keen interest in football is highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous internship or relevant experience in marketing, digital media, or sports management is preferred but not required.
