BLITZ FL WELCOMES MARCEETA (KEE) HOLMES
Marceeta Holmes is an accomplished creative mind with more than 16 years of professional experience in both digital and print media. As a former athlete, she undoubtedly possesses a high level of knowledge about nutrition, sports, and wellness.
During Marceeta’s collegiate career at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she left her impact and influence on the all of the campus’ media outlets. As a freshman, she became the first Black female to play-by-play announce for both the IUP Men’s and Women’s’ basketball teams. That led to her also becoming the first female to sideline report for the nationally ranked Division II Crimson Hawks football team. When she wasn’t filming for IUP-TV, Marceeta was the host of several sport & entertainment radio shows, which aired in WIUP-FM or she spent time writing articles as a beat reporter for the IUP Newsletter.
Enjoying four years of working in media led to many leadership opportunities, which she would capitalize on. Marceeta held roles of an announcer, videographer, editor, TV show host, radio host, producer, reporter, photographer and media director before graduated with honors in 2012 with a degree in Communication Media.
After a successful internship at WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, she was hired as the Executive Personal Assistant by the Director of 6ABC where she would work on several globally televised shows. Some of the live field productions included multiple Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Day parades, the Philadelphia Auto Show and Flower Show presentations.
We are proud to welcome Marceeta (Kee) Holmes to the Blitz Family!
